Local play

Imported games, local save states and control settings stay in this app’s storage on your phone. Local play does not require an account. The rebuilt app does not send gameplay analytics to the old backend. The separate Recovery testing build does not request ads.

Optional accounts and cloud saves

If you create a new RetroCore account, Google Firebase Authentication processes your email, password and account identifier to sign you in and protect the account. Passwords are handled by Firebase; the RetroCore website and save service do not store them.

When you choose to upload a cloud save, our save service stores the save-state contents, game title, a fingerprint of the game file, slot number and upload time. The game ROM itself is not uploaded. Three cloud slots of up to 2 MB each are available per account.

Advertising and privacy choices

The production app uses Google AdMob for banner ads in the marketplace and occasional interstitial ads when switching games. Google’s Mobile Ads SDK may process IP addresses (including approximate location), device and advertising identifiers, interactions with the app and ads, and diagnostic information for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. The app does not request precise location access.

Where required, a consent message appears before ads are requested. Use Ad privacy choices in the app to review the choices available for your region. Declining personalized advertising does not prevent local play. See Google’s advertising privacy information.

Providers and security

Google Firebase provides account authentication. Hostinger hosts the website and cloud-save service. Requests use HTTPS. The save service validates your Firebase sign-in on each request and restricts access to your own files, which are stored outside the public website directory.

These providers may process IP addresses, device/browser information and service logs to operate and secure their services. See Firebase privacy information and Hostinger’s privacy policy.

Retention and deletion

Active account information is kept until the account is deleted. Cloud saves remain until you replace their slot or delete your cloud data or account. In the app’s Account & cloud saves screen, you can delete cloud data while retaining your account, or delete both. You can also use our deletion website.

Successful self-service account deletion removes the new Firebase sign-in and the live cloud-save files. Firebase Authentication retains logged IP addresses for a few weeks and states that authentication data is removed from live and backup systems within 180 days after account deletion is initiated. Hostinger backups and security logs have separate retention settings; contact support for those details. No promise about provider backup or log deletion is made by the self-service confirmation.

Account deletion does not remove local files on your phone. Clear the installed RetroCore app’s storage through Android Settings to remove its imported games, local saves and preferences. Earlier app accounts and data are separate and are not migrated into this new service.

Earlier versions and unavailable systems

Earlier RetroCore releases used airetrogaming.com or orroclicks.com and a different account service. Those releases included advertising and contacted services for game catalogs, installation or activity tracking, and notifications. The developer can no longer access those hosting or account systems. Existing records have not been migrated or confirmed deleted. Creating or deleting a new account does not delete an old account. Contact support to record an older-data request; we cannot confirm deletion from the inaccessible systems.
